Election Commission of India has introduced use of  VVPAT
(Voter’s Verifiable Paper Audit Trial) System in the sample 
Parliamentary Constituencies(PCs) for the ensuing  General Elections to
Lok Sabha, 2014. Parliamentary Constituency No.04 Chennai Central
Parliamentary Constituency is the Parliamentary Constituency  for this
purpose in Tamil Nadu.  This facility will be provided to voters in all the 
1153 Polling Stations of this Constituency .  Under this facility, the voter
would be able to see a printout  of the symbol of the candidate to whom
he has voted for the symbol would be printed by the machine and this
would be visible through a glass window.   The printout of the image
would be retained in the machine.
2. Training to Master trainers to handle VVPAT Systems  will be
given by the Election Commission of India at New Delhi. Subsequently, 
Master Trainers will train polling staff pertaining to said Parliamentary 

Constituency.
